Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire report on the outcomes of their 2025 Festival for Older People which over 400 people attended.

Attendees reported hearing about the Festival through a wide range of channels, including community magazines, word of mouth, GP surgeries, HWCB Just Ask events, and direct email communications. This diversity of referral routes highlights the strength of community connections and the value of multi-channel promotion. 

More than 150 organisations were invited to take part as exhibitors. Those who attended were provided with promotional posters and a press release and were encouraged to share information about the Festival through their own networks.
