Summary of report content

This report was written by Healthwatch Bolton. Workshop/focus group events were held with those attending local groups.

The report was published November, 2016. It is based on responses recorded in workshop events. A total of 126 people were engaged with.

Overall sentiment was mixed. As the questions relate directly to the experience of falling or preventing future falls, many comments related to the type of injury or effect of falling, as well as hazards in the local built environment.

A set of recommendations has been made. No response from providers is attached, though this project does not engage with a single provider of services.
