Summary of report content

Healthwatch Hartlepool undertook an Enter and View visit to Wynyard Woods Care Home on 1 April 2019. The visit took place following the publication of the CQC report published in May 2018 which stated the Home Requires Improvement.  During the visit, they spoke to 13 residents.

During their visit Healthwatch Hartlepool observed plenty of activities, a comprehensive menu and an appropriate décor.  Residents were felt that they could be relatively independent, had a good choice of food, were generally happy at the home and felt that they were treated with respect by staff.

There were 6 recommendations including cleanliness, clothing and the format of menus.

The report doesn’t contain a response from the provider.
