Enter and view: Wolston Grange

Healthwatch Warwickshire carried out an unannounced Enter and View visit to Wolston Grange in May 2016 to check that standards identified at its previous CQC inspection had been maintained. Healthwatch spoke with five residents and one relative, who were positive about the care and support provided. Staff were observed treating residents with dignity and respect and supporting them to make choices. The visit identified some concerns with the physical environment, including bathrooms and toilets, emergency pull cords and trip hazards. 

Recommendations focused on refurbishment, repairing flooring and ensuring staff engage with residents during mealtimes. A follow-up visit was recommended.
