Enter and view: Weston Park Care Home, Cheshire East

Healthwatch Cheshire conducted an Enter and View at Weston Park Care Home, a care home in Macclesfield, Cheshire, which provides nursing care, respite care and dementia care for up to 103 residents.

The visit was conducted on 24th August 2017 and was part of Healthwatch Cheshire’s enter and view schedule.

Observation by the enter and view representatives reported that:

There weren’t many positive comments made by the residents with the majority of negative comments being received about the food on offer.

The care home also received a “Require Improvement” in its latest CQC inspection report prior to this visit.

The enter and view team made some suggestions for improvement based on their findings, however, the service provider did not provide any feedback.
