Summary of report content

This report details the findings of Healthwatch Shropshire’s Enter and View of Radbrook Nursing Home. A team of three specially trained and DBS checked volunteers, called Authorised Representatives, visited Radbrook Nursing Home, part of Morris Care, on Thursday 11 August 2022 at 10.30am. The visit was semi-announced, meaning that the service knew that they would be visited within a two-week period. The purpose of the visit was to speak to the Manager, staff, and residents to see how the service was being delivered; make observations of the home environment; and see how people’s choice, independence, dignity, and privacy were being promoted. This report highlights that the Radbrook Nursing Home is well-maintained, but that they have struggled with recruitment and staff levels.
