Summary of report content

Healthwatch Cheshire East and Healthwatch Chester West and Chester undertook an announced enter and view visit to the Ambulatory Wound Care Clinic at the Victoria Infirmary Northwich on 3 August 2022. This was as part of a wider piece of work they were doing on people’s experience of accessing the integrated Ambulatory Wound Care service delivered by Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP).

The report looks at:

  • How the service is provided, including opening times
  • Transport access, including parking availability.
  • The waiting areas and clinic rooms
  • Conversations with staff

The report contains four recommendations about parking, seating, access to drinking water and fire safety protocols.
