Summary of report content

Healthwatch Leicestershire conducted an Enter and View visit to 4 Urgent Care Centres (UCCs) in Leicestershire on the 28th October and 4th November 2016. They spoke to a total of 45 people.

Overall, across all 4 UCCs, all patients were seen within 2 hours of arriving, some patients were unsure whether the UCC was the appropriate place to go for their illness/injury, the majority of patients hadn't heard of the 'NHS Now' App and didn't have a good understanding of the NHS 111 service, the waiting rooms were clean and welcoming.

This report was agreed with both service providers as factually accurate and provides a service provider response.
