Summary of report content

On 12 February 2020 Healthwatch Bucks undertook an Enter and View visit to Trinity Court Care Home, which provides residential care for 6 people living with learning and physical disabilities. They talked to 4 members of staff and observed 4 residents most of whom used forms of communication other than speech.

Healthwatch Bucks found that the home had a relaxed and positive atmosphere. They observed residents and staff understanding each other’s body language and verbal communication. Activities were personalised and well supported. They scored the home 5 stars for each of the following areas: How people are treated, personal choice, homeliness, privacy and quality of life.

No recommendations were made. The report includes a response from the provider to the findings.
