Summary of report content

Healthwatch Walsall undertook an Enter and View visit to Stanbrook Care Home, a residential care home for up to 25 residents, on 6 January 2020.  They spoke to one resident, 2 relatives and 3 staff.

Healthwatch had concerns about the maintenance of the building, the décor and the food on offer and how it was served.

Residents said that they have regular chiropody/ hairdresser and dentist visits and that they were happy with the staff.

There were 12 recommendations, covering feedback, maintenance of the home, how food is served, making the home feel more homely and access to dental care

There was no response from the provider.
