Summary of report content

Healthwatch Warrington undertook an announced enter and view visit to St Rocco's Hospice on 26 June 2024.

The staff are dedicated and provide an excellent service with the support from amazing volunteers. Patients are always treated with dignity, and they were very complimentary of all the staff and the service provision. The inpatient unit did not feel clinical, it had a calm and relaxing feel to it, which was felt throughout the hospice. The design was well thought out.

There were two recommendations about information and dementia friendly initiatives.
