To engage with Healthwatch Halton when any health or social care issues arise for staff and residents.
Signage: It was felt by the visiting team that refurbishment would benefit from dementia friendly signage in dining rooms across the four units. To enable residents to make informed choices with regards to meals and alternative meals on the menu.
Storage: During the visit it was noted that equipment was left in some corridors which could hinder the access of residents. Healthwatch Halton therefore recommends, that equipment is stored appropriately to aid the orientation of residents and to reduce risks of falls.
