Warrington Healthwatch carried out an Enter and View visit to Spire Cheshire Hospital in October 2016, the visit was carried out in line with their strategic direction. This report did not include the gathering of patient experience and instead a separate engagement visit was to be arranged.
The visit and review covered the following areas:

• Cleanliness and Infection Control
• Administration
The report stated the hospital appeared well-run, with well-maintained facilities and operated a patient-orientated approach. The visiting team identified some clear examples of good practice and would like the hospital to share these ideas with other partner organisations.
The recommendations included:

• Share Best Practice
• Provide Healthy Snacks
• Update Bathrooms
The response from the provider acknowledged the report and welcomed the visit from Healthwatch Warrington in providing an independent review.
