Healthwatch West Sussex undertook an enter and view visit to Southlands Hospital on 7 February 2024.  They visited the outpatients, dermatology, eye clinic departments and the community diagnostic centre.

The report assesses the external and internal environment of each department, and whether they were safe and caring environments.

The report includes recommendations on signage, decor, building and facilities, hearing loop, toilets and privacy and dignity.
