Healthwatch County Durham conducted an Enter and View visit to Sacriston Medical Centre on Tuesday 26th February 2019. 

They spoke to 20 patients and staff using a set of appreciative questions to give people the opportunity to describe good practice they had experienced or seen. People found the staff professional and empathetic. Opinions about appointment availability varied; some thought appointments were easy to get, whilst others thought it can be difficult to get an appointment. Healthwatch observed patients appearing very happy with the services overall. The surgery was clean and friendly with interesting visual stimulus and comfortable seating.
