Healthwatch Wolverhampton conducted an Enter and View on Wulfrun Rose Nursing Home, a privately owned nursing home with 39 residents on the 27th of July and the 3rd of August 2017.

This visit(s) was arranged to address concerns raised by family members regarding the care of their relative in terms of personal hygiene, weight management and access to health services.

The report looks at the physical environment, staff numbers, the experience of the residents and staff, and the catering. Overall the home was found to be very clean, decorated to a high standard with good quality furniture and fittings. Staff appeared to be pleasant, well-informed, and attentive to the residents, displaying a high level of care and attention.

Four recommendations were made in the report and it contains a response from the provider that addresses these.
