Summary of report content

This is an enter and view report from Healthwatch Leicester and Healthwatch Leicestershire of the Latham House Medical Practice in Melton Mowbray. The enter and view visit was conducted on 23rd November 2021. The purpose was:

 

  • To gather patient views of the service provided at Latham House Medical Practice.
  • To see if any of recommendations from Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire's previous visit has been acted upon.
  • To observe the facilities and operation of the service.
  • To observe patient access during the ongoing Covid-19 restriction.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions at the time patients were not available for interview. Instead, Healthwatch were able to use the GP text messaging service to reach patients, and received 1138 responses.

The findings were mixed, with some positive feedback and some areas for improvement.
