Healthwatch Lincolnshire is the independent health and social care champion. Local Healthwatch is in place to gather the views and experiences of people accessing services, to use this information to influence decisions and to provide information and advice to the local community about health and social care services.
These Enter and View visits are ‘announced’ visits where they notify the provider of their intention to visit. Healthwatch Lincolnshire visited The Old Hall on 27/09/2017.
The summary of findings highlight: They found the home clean and modern with a keen attention to detail within a heavily used premises; they found residents happy and engaged, explaining to us the vast array of personal interests they included in their day to day life, whether that be sports, music or creative activities; staff told them that routine and structure revolved around ensuring outcomes for the residents and therefore they had a more personalised and flexible approach to daily routines; they heard the challenges which can and are experienced in the emergency service and hospital pathways; they found the home to be vibrant and active within a challenging and rewarding environment.
