Summary of report content

Healthwatch Warrington conducted an Enter and View in January 2019 visit to Meadowview Care Home which provides personal care and accommodation to up to 41 residents.

Observations made by the Enter and View representatives include: accessible and clean environment, varied activities with reminiscence therapy and doll therapy; good choice of food and drink with flexibility; and residents treated with respect and appropriate care. Staff reported that staffing levels were good and training was adequate whilst residents reported that they were happy with the staff and care they received.

Recommendations were made to the residential care home which included: signage: improve signage to the home from the main road, increasing parking spaces, removing the unused and broken payphone, and replacing the clocks so that the right time is displayed.
