Summary of report content

On 30th October 2019, Healthwatch Havering undertook an Enter and View visit to Lilliputs Residential Care Complex consisting of five “units”, each separately registered by the CQC. The residents are mainly severely disabled younger people and some children. There are others long-term residents who have grown to adulthood since taking up residence at the home. The Healthwatch team visited four units: The Farmhouse; the Day Centre; and The Paddocks and Cherry Tree together. The report highlights what the teams observed in the different units related to the buildings and facilities, care residents received, staff and resident relations as well as what changes were observed compared to the recommendations of a previous enter and view visit in February 2017. The report contains recommendations to each of the different units but received no response from the providers.
