Healthwatch Blackburn with Darwen conducted an enter and view observation on HBS Pharmacy on 25th February 2019. An observation of the service together with feedback to a questionnaire from eight customers formed the basis of this report

The feedback for HBS Pharmacy was positive and 9 out of 10 respondents said they were 'extremely happy' with the service.

The recommendations from this report were: to be more accessible for a wider audience, the Healthy Living Zone could use more visuals on the board and leaflets for customers to take away, and to have some seating available which caters to those with mobility issues. For example, a back to the chair for support and arm rests and a higher seat to make getting in and out of the chair easier.

The service provider acknowledged the recommendations and sought to improve the issues.
