Healthwatch Halton undertook an announced enter and view visit to Halton View Care Home on 17 January 2024.

During their visit, residents at the Halton View seemed happy, comfortable and well looked after. Healthwatch viewed good engagement between the manager, staff and residents. The visiting team stated they could see the improvements that had been made at the home and were pleased to hear about what further works were planned. The feedback Healthwatch received from family members also highlighted the positive changes taking place to ensure residents receive the best care possible. 

The report includes eight recommendations about activities, staff training, complaints and feedback, the need for the environment to be dementia friendly and food and drink.
