Summary of report content

This is an Enter and View report by Healthwatch North Yorkshire. Healthwatch representatives visited The Grange Care Home to observe the surroundings and speak to residents.

During the visit 29 people were spoken to which included 5 residents, 9 residents’ friends or family members, and 15 members of staff. Many of the residents have dementia or cognitive impairment, which meant a smaller number than expected could be engaged directly.

Largley residents were happy with the care they were receiving.

There were suggestions to improve the lack of organised outings, en-suite facilities, and the main website to ensure visitors there had up-to-date information.
