Healthwatch Lancashire conducted an Enter and View on Gillibrand Hall Nursing Home in Chorley, Lancashire, a privately owned nursing home catering for residents who are aged 55 and over and are affected by dementia, old age and physical disability.

The visit was conducted on 10th October 2017 and was an announced visit which was arranged as part of Healthwatch Lancashire's Enter and View schedule where 3 residents and 8 members of staff were asked for their views.

Observation by the enter and view representatives reported that:

The home received a positive review in each area that it was observed with the rating being based on that the home would be chose for a loved one.

The home also received positive feedback from its residents who seemed to be happy living in the home along with being happy with the staff who care for them.

As a result of the positive reviews, the enter and view representatives stated on the feedback form that there were no recommendations to consider with the team writing that “all team members were very polite and un-intrusive.
