Summary of report content

Healthwatch South Tyneside undertook an enter and view visit to Garden Hill Care Centre on 28 September 2016.  They spoke to 5 people.

Garden Hill Care Centre is home to many of its residents requiring nursing care. This was evident in many unable to engage with Healthwatch. Those that Healthwatch spoke to appeared to be happy and staff appeared willing to help those needing additional assistance if they had lost their way. The activities on offer demonstrated a varied programme of activities but as the co-ordinator told us it depended on the day if someone wanted to take part.
