Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire carried out an Enter and View visit to Five Rivers Living in April 2026 to understand the experiences of residents, relatives and staff and observe the care being provided.
The visit found a clean, welcoming and well-maintained home where residents appeared well cared for and supported to make choices about their daily lives.
Positive relationships between staff, residents and relatives were observed, alongside personalised care, strong family engagement and a varied programme of activities and outings.
The home was reported to have good links with a range of healthcare services, although concerns were raised regarding communication and coordination with hospital services
