Summary of report content

Healthwatch Cumberland undertook an enter and view visit to Eden Manor Care Home on 30 October 2026.  They spoke to 21 people.

From observing various floors and rooms, Healthwatch enjoyed the attention to detail with the decor. Residents rooms had a homely feel with many of their own items allowed. The floors where decorated appropriately with many seating areas and specific decor for the dementia floor to provide familiarity to residents.

Following our observations, Healthwatch Cumberland have suggested a number of recommendations to improve the services at Eden Manor Care Home.
