Healthwatch Milton Keynes undertook an Enter and View visit to Dyers Mews on 28 June 2023. They spoke residents, family members, and staff.
The home provides personal care for people with learning disabilities and/or autism. The building is well maintained and has a large eat-in kitchen, two sitting rooms and a breakout room. Residents are encouraged and assisted to cook for themselves. Bedrooms are decorated as the residents choose.
Each residents has a key worker and link worker, as well as a one-to-one carer which changes. Staff were observed to be caring and encouraging with residents. Residents are encouraged to do their own shopping, laundry and cooking with the help of staff. Residents are free to come and go and partake in activities as they please.
There were no significant issues identified.
