Summary of report content

Healthwatch Bucks reports on the outcomes of recent Enter and View visits they have undertaken.  They contact each care home 4-6 months after the initial visit and ask what further changes they have made.

The Leonard Pulham

The care home reports that it has answered most of the recommendations made in the original report.  In addition they have undertaken person training and have put up signs around the home.

Hillside

The care home reports that it has introduced pictorial menus, has taken steps to ensure that residents are aware that they have a choice of food and have commissioned a gardener to improve their garden.

Woodlands Park

The care home has addressed both recommendations by introducing pictorial menus and some of the residents getting involved by laying tables, folding napkins and making floral displays.

Freemantle Court

The care home have introduced new pictorial menus, have added new physical exercise sessions to their weekly activities and have enabled the staff to spend more time with residents.
