Summary of report content

Healthwatch Sandwell undertook an announced enter and view visit to the Diabetes Clinic at Sandwell General Hospital on 23 May 2023. They spoke to nine patients.

The report looks at patient experience including booking appointments, care by staff, accessibility to the building and information and any suggestions to improve the service. They also observed the external and internal environment.

The report contains four recommendations about parking, reminders for appointments, publicity for the service, providing a loop system and telling patients about the complaints and feedback processes.
