Summary of report content

On 28 January 2020, Healthwatch Bucks undertook an Enter and View visit to Denham Manor Care Home, which provides nursing care for 35 people. They talked to 5 residents, 2 visitors and 4 members of staff and observed a further 10 residents, 4 visitors and 4 staff.

They found that Denham Manor provided good quality care and had cheerful staff who were consistently praised by residents and visitors.   People felt Denham Manor was a ‘home from home’.  The manager was open to change and new ideas.

There were 8 recommendations, mainly around providing pictorial information.  The report includes a response from the provider setting out the action they were taking in response to the recommendations.
