Summary of report content

Healthwatch Staffordshire decided to undertake an enter and view visit to the County Hospital, to have a deeper insight into the patients ‘experience of the health and care services offered.  Intelligence previously received from patients indicated specific pressure points revolving round delays in hospital discharge, for a multitude of complex reasons, which often included waiting for medication and/ or transport.  The visit took place on 10 February 2023.
