Healthwatch Bucks conducted an unannounced Enter and View visit, as part of a planned set of visits looking at the care provided, specifically around how the homes are able to support residents with additional needs.

Healthwatch Bucks visited Cliveden Manor, on 10/05/2018.

Cliveden Manor provides care, including nursing care, for up to 85 residents, 16 of which live with dementia in a wing called The Willows. Healthwatch Bucks spoke to 10 members of staff, 1 visitor and 7 residents. Healthwatch Bucks observed a further 11 staff, 4 visitors and 18 residents.

The summary of findings included: A well designed, relaxed but accessible home especially for those living with dementia in The Willows; A wide range of activities and personal choice and independence is promoted.
