Healthwatch St Helens undertook an enter and view visit to Cedric House on 27 July 2017.

The manager and office staff were very welcoming. Care staff were busy and friendly. The outside of the property looked untidy and the inside of the property looked dated. Residents were at varying stages of dementia but seemed happy and relaxed. Healthwatch spoke to one resident but in fact they were informed there were another potential nine residents we could engage with. This led to a recommendation that the visiting team would return to chat with residents. Volunteers are relied on for recreation with residents
