Healthwatch Warwickshire did an announced Enter and View visit to Budbrooke Medical Centre on 18th November 2015. The surgery is in reasonably good condition on the outside and inside and has an onsite dispensary.
There was no electronic check in the waiting room, and GPs and nurses call the patients when it is their turn for appointments. They have not had to use translation for any reason so don’t have that service either.
The questionnaire asked the patients attending the surgery about appointments, access, parking, signage, staff attitudes, cleanliness and the quality of care amongst other things. One person found the appointment booking system to be poor, but in terms of punctuality the surgery didn’t rate that bad.
Feedback from patients at this surgery was very positive with recognition that the surgery is open and responsive to feedback. The surgery was encouraged to continue its excellent work and to share best practice wherever possible.
