Healthwatch Bath and North East Somerset conducted an Enter and View on Bridgemead House on 11 October 2017. Bridgemead House is a large care home with 32 rooms providing residential and nursing care for older people, plus some respite and day care. The visit was arranged as part of Healthwatch Bath and North East Somerset's Enter and View schedule.

Healthwatch Bath and North East Somerset volunteers observed really good care throughout the visit, which was also expressed through conversation with residents. Residents commented: felt very well looked after and enjoys film nights, likes the friendly attitude of staff and other residents; the care home was excellent.
