Summary of report content

Healthwatch Wolverhampton undertook an unannounced Enter and View visit to Bethrey House on 15 May 2019 in response to issues raised within their latest CQC visit undertaken in February 2019 when the home was rated as “Requires Improvement”.

The visit was cut short before the Authorised Representatives were able to complete their visit and talk to staff and residents.  Healthwatch tried to rearrange the visit on several occasions without success.  They decided to publish the report without giving the service an opportunity to respond or provide feedback.

The only recommendation was that the home actively engages with external partners that seek to highlight good practice and identify areas of improvement.
