Summary of report content

Healthwatch Warwickshire carried out an Enter and View visit to Bennfield Surgery in July 2015, gathering feedback from 25 patients. Patients were very positive about the overall quality of care, with GPs, nurses and reception staff receiving particularly positive feedback. The main concern was access to appointments, with patients reporting difficulties getting through by telephone in the morning and some wanting more evening appointments. Parking was also raised as an issue.

Healthwatch recommended reviewing the appointment booking system and providing a comments or complaints box. The surgery responded by outlining the different ways patients could book appointments and agreed to provide a comments box.
