Summary of report content

Healthwatch Cheshire West conducted an Enter and View visit to Beeston View on the 4th of March 2015. The team spoke to residents, relatives and staff. They used survey methods and made general observations.

Relatives indicated that the standard of care for their relatives was very good. The team noted that the environment was pleasant, caring and comfortable. They also observed members of staff interacting in a positive and caring manner with the residents. There appeared to be a number of opportunities for residents to participate in a variety of activities. Staff members reported that they were well treated and enjoyed working at the home.

The report included a few recommendations. The recommendations centred around upgrading the communal areas in the home. The report also made a recommendation regarding the local authority.

The report included a brief response from the provider, noting how friendly the team was.
