Summary of report content

Healthwatch Oxfordshire undertook an Enter and View visit to Beech House Care Home on 29 March 2019 as part of a programme to visit social care providers.

They heard from one resident, six staff and five relatives.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a family atmosphere at Beech Court. Staff are dedicated to their job and would like to be empowered to take on more responsibility and decision making to have a greater impact service delivery. Relatives are very happy with the care their loved ones are receiving and have no recommendations for improvement beyond involving local schoolchildren on a more regular basis.

There were 2 recommendations in the report, which also includes a response from the provider.
