Summary of report content

Healthwatch Sandwell undertook an enter and view visit to Asda Pharmacy, Tipton, on 20 September 2022. They wanted to understand people’s experiences of pharmacy services, including dispensing prescriptions.  They spoke to 15 people.

Healthwatch concluded that this community pharmacy was a good resource for anyone needing help, medical advice or support. Customers spoke well of the service and the care given by staff, the majority use the pharmacy for prescription and over the counter medication. Staff receive regular training and are an effective team. The environment is clean, tidy and welcoming.

The report contains one recommendation about displaying a complaints poster.
