Summary of report content

Healthwatch Rotherham was contacted in May 2022 about an incident that had occurred in Rotherham Town Centre. This involved a member of the public being unable to access a defibrillator as instructed by the 999 operator, due to its location being locked, despite the defibrillator being advertised as available 24 hours of the day, and the incident taking place in working hours. Healthwatch began to investigate the defibrillators in Rotherham town centre, where they were located and who was responsible for them.

This report details their findings.
