This report explores 344 people’s experiences of the COVID-19 vaccination roll-out, including their experience of having the vaccine, and any concerns they have about the second dose.
Experiences were overwhelmingly positive (92%)with key positive themes including:
- Staff
- Overall service
- Communication
- Speed/queues
When asked about their concerns about the second dose of the vaccine, key findings were:
- Just under 1/3 of people stated that they had had anxieties or worries before attending the centre
- The main anxiety/worries spoken about was side effects of the vaccine
- 74% of people stated that the centre resolved their anxiety or worry
- 95 % of people felt that nothing further could be done to improve their experience or reduce their worries or anxieties.
