Healthwatch Salford have on reported how the COVID-19 Pandemic had impacted people’s health and wellbeing. They spoke to 45 people.

24 people felt that the pandemic had affected their mental health, with isolation, loneliness and anxiety being significant problems for people.

17 people felt that the pandemic had affected their physical health, with many people reporting decreases in exercise and poor diets.

22 of 29 people who needed to access care services were able to do so.

Healthwatch Salford also asked people about their understanding of the government’s advice about the pandemic, with 21 finding it “a bit confusing”.

No further recommendations were made in this report.
