Summary of report content

This report details the 78 responses to a survey designed to investigate the general public’s understanding of safeguarding. The findings indicate that there is an ongoing need to raise awareness about safeguarding among the general public. This report concludes by recommending that wider organisations could be involved in the work of the Safeguarding Board, that there should be a method for reporting informal safeguarding concerns, and raising awareness about how to report safeguarding concerns.
