Summary of report content

On Thursday 14th September 2023 Healthwatch Liverpool held a Listening Event at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool. They spoke with 14 patients, family members and staff and listened to what they had to say about their experiences. 

This visit was part of their ongoing programme of visiting local health and social care providers and was a welcome opportunity to make their first official visit to the new Clatterbridge site following the pandemic. 

Patients identified the following positive themes about the new site:

  • Staff attitude and treatment
  • Environment, location and catering

Patients identified the following issues which could be improved:
