Summary of report content

In March 2025, Healthwatch Norfolk visited Lincoln House to speak with service users about their experience with the home. Lincoln House is a care home in Swanton Morley, a village in Breckland, and is owned and managed by Castlemeadow Care. The home provides residential, respite and nursing care for up to 59 people aged 65 or over.

From the visit, Healthwatch Norfolk received five reviews for the home, with an overall star rating of 4.4 stars out of 5.

Service users spoke highly of their relationships with staff and were pleased with the quality of care. Mention was made about the speedy replacement of furniture as required. The varied activities schedule was appreciated by service users and the visitor. Collaborative working was highlighted by some in respect of service delivery and family participation. Healthwatch Norfolk also heard that people appreciated how well everyone worked together at the home when it came to both caring for residents and ensuring families were involved.
