Healthwatch Norfolk visited Campingland Surgery in August 2026 and gathered feedback from 28 patients. Overall, experiences were very positive, with an average rating of 4.4 out of 5. Patients frequently praised staff for being friendly, helpful, polite and supportive. Many reported feeling listened to by doctors and nurses and were positive about the quality of care they received.
The strongest positive theme was staff attitude and patient care. Respondents described clinicians as thorough, compassionate and willing to take time to explain conditions and treatment options. Several patients highlighted examples of staff going above and beyond to help, including resolving medication issues quickly and arranging prompt follow-up appointments. Many also reported that urgent problems were dealt with efficiently.
The main concerns related to access and continuity of care. While many people said they could get appointments easily, others reported difficulty booking routine appointments, particularly because they needed to phone on the day or join telephone queues in the morning. Several respondents wanted more permanent, full-time doctors and felt continuity of care was better when they could see the same GP regularly. Parking was another recurring concern, with many describing the limited parking provision as inadequate.
Overall, patients viewed Campingland Surgery as a caring and responsive practice that delivers good-quality care. Healthwatch found that concerns were largely focused on appointment systems, continuity of care, parking and the condition of the building, while feedback about staff and treatment was overwhelmingly positive.
