The East of England Spinal Surgery Clinical Network commissioned Healthwatch Suffolk to include people and professionals in shaping patient experience of back, neck and spinal care locally. They spoke to 136 people via a survey, interviews and focus groups.

The report looks at:

  • Patients' experiences of engagement and involvement, access to treatment and referrals and treatment and care
  • How staff experience getting feedback from patients and the barriers to getting feedback
  • Patients' experience of providing feedback and changes they'd like to see to providing feedback in future.
