Healthwatch North Northamptonshire report on their key achievements in 2025/26. They:

  • Established and expanded a new Healthwatch service, including community surgeries, drop-ins and an 18-member advisory group. 
  • Engaged with over 500 residents and identified GP access and appointment booking as key local issues. 
  • Influenced improvements at Kettering General Hospital's paediatric department through an Enter and View review. 
  • Reached seldom-heard groups, including refugees, asylum seekers, Black communities, and people experiencing homelessness or poor mental health.
  • Worked with partners to deliver community health events and NHS Health Checks, improving access to preventative healthcare
